The Film Crew Workshops
Join us for a hands-on filmmaking workshop designed specifically for 12-14 year old students to explore the world of cinema!
Welcome to our Filmmaking Workshop!
Dates Available: 30th October
Location: Marina Market, Centre Park Rd, Cork, T12 YX76
Join us for a fun and interactive workshop led by Zoe and Rory Fitzpatrick. Through the day we will teach you the basics of filmmaking and help you make your own short by the end of the day! You will get to choose roles in a cast and crew and you will learn how to produce films with what you have at home. Whether your interest is directing, acting or camera work we have a place for you in the crew!
The workshop will be 5 hours long with a break in the middle. Make sure you bring warm clothes as the space is big and could be chilly. You can bring packed food for the break if you want to eat or there is great vendors in the marina market. We will not be providing food.
We hope to see you at the workshop and can't wait to see what we can help you create!
About us:
Zoe is a filmmaker by trade and studied film in first St. John's and later in Brighton Film School. She has years of experience in the industry and has had acclaim in film festivals for her work. She has also done work in music videos which you can see here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aXHBuuys92U
Rory is a filmmaker by practice and interest. He did applied economics in college but has always taken a huge interest in film.
Both are Tusla Safeguarded and have experience in instructing in several areas.
